Home /Programs / Long Term Residential Programs
For many patients, long term residential treatment provides an opportunity to continue building their recovery skills while in a supportive, structured, and therapeutic environment. All of our residential programs provide medication assisted therapies (such as suboxone/buprenorphine and vivitrol). We welcome clients who are on Methadone Maintenance and will work with your provider to make sure dosing and medications go uninterrupted. Our medical teams include access to psychiatry to address and treat co-occuring mental health disorders.
Lengths of stay can vary from 3 months to 6 months based on the individual needs of our residents. While in treatment, residents are assigned a primary therapist/counselor to develop a plan of care and identifying needs for continuing care. Families are welcomed and encouraged to participate in both the family education programs as well as the individual treatment of their loved ones.
Maryland Treatment Centers has long term residential programs in Montgomery County, Frederick County, and Carroll County.
We accept Maryland Medicaid and most major commercial insurances. If you are uninsured, please call so we can assess you for sliding scale fees or other public funds.
