High-intensity short-term rehab treatment can help with crisis stabilization and to jump-start recovery when outpatient may not be enough.

Many patients are hesitant to enter treatment because of fear of withdrawal. Our team of addiction medicine specialists use the most modern treatments including medications so that our patients have the best chance at moving forward in their recovery, safely and comfortably. The counseling and therapy teams are dedicated to teaching skills for early recovery, individualizing continuing care plans, and supporting patients throughout their stay. Patients typically stay approximately 21-28 days. Initiation of maintenance medications for relapse prevention (“MAT”) is available at all our inpatient programs. Continuing care will be facilitated by your individual counselor and Maryland Treatment Centers offers an array of step-down options to support therapeutic gains made while inpatient.

With facilities in Montgomery County (Avery Road Treatment Center, Rockville), Frederick County (Mountain Manor Emmitsburg), Carroll County (Shoemaker Center, Sykesville) and Baltimore City (Mountain Manor Baltimore), we are conveniently located and accessible to both patients and their families. Transportation can be provided upon request.
